New Delhi, May 06: The Foreign Ministry has described the statement issued by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack as childish.
The Ministry said that this statement has been issued at the behest of Pakistan and the truth of the attack and its cross-border links have been ignored in it.
India has alleged that Pakistan is misleading the OIC. Pakistan has been involved in cross-border terrorism for a long time and the OIC statement is going to further its agenda. The statement said, “We completely reject the interference of OIC in India’s internal affairs.”
It is noteworthy that in its recent statement, the OIC expressed concern over the deteriorating security situation in South Asia and advocated dialogue between India and Pakistan. The OIC reiterated its old stand on the Jammu and Kashmir issue and called it the main challenge to regional stability.

The organization stressed the need for a peaceful solution to this dispute in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
