NTA’s NEET exam begins, altercation occurred at one exam center in Lucknow

Lucknow, 04 May: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Examination Agency (NTA) began at 2 pm at 73 examination centers in Lucknow. Before this, the candidates who reached to take the exam were thoroughly checked outside the examination centers.

At an examination center in Aliganj area, when a parent entered through the main gate, he was taken out. On which there was an altercation between the angry parent and the security personnel.

Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Kamlesh Dixit took charge to manage the traffic system when a huge crowd gathered at examination centers like Lucknow University, K.K.C. College, University New Campus on Sunday. Vehicles passing by had to face a lot of difficulties due to the vehicles being parked near the examination center on the arrival of the candidates and their parents. Hanuman Setu to IT Chauraha, Charbagh to Cantonment Road, Aliganj Tiraha Road were completely jammed.

Like Lucknow, special arrangements were made at the examination centers for NEET exam in other districts of Uttar Pradesh too. Threads tied to the hands of the candidates, phone leads, electronic devices, water bottles, mobile phones, jewelry etc. were removed outside the examination center itself. Candidates were allowed to enter the examination center only after being checked for about five to seven minutes.
