Prayagraj, January 10: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while talking to the media on Saturday after reviewing the preparations for the upcoming bathing festivals of the Magh Mela in the auditorium of Prayagraj Mela Authority, said that after attending the 726th birth anniversary celebrations of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Ji Maharaj in Teerthraj Prayagraj, he discussed with the officials of the Mela administration and has directed that all the officials should coordinate and communicate and ensure the safe completion of the Mela.
The Chief Minister said that there should be no negligence in the security of the devotees and Kalpvasis coming for the upcoming bathing festivals of Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, Basant Panchami, Maghi Purnima and all the bathing festivals.
The CM said that the administration has completed the preparations for the bathing festivals of Makar Sankranti, Maghi Purnima, Basant Panchami and Mahashivratri. This time, along with expanding the area of โโthe Magh Mela, the number of bathing ghats has also been increased. Strong security arrangements have been made for the devotees coming here, ensuring they will not face any difficulties.
Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Prayagraj on Saturday, where he bathed in the Ganges at Sangam Nose, performed Ganga puja with Vedic mantras along with saints, and prayed for the successful completion of the Makar Sankranti and Mauni Amavasya bathing festivals of the Magh Mela. He then attended the 726th birth anniversary celebrations of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya, held at the camp of Jagadguru Santoshacharya, General Secretary of the Khakchowk Management Committee.
BJP Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta, MP Praveen Patel, MLA Guru Prasad Maurya, Harsh Vardhan Bajpai, Dr. K.P. Srivastava, Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Siddharth Nath Srivastava, and police and administrative officials were present at the review meeting.
