Nitish Kumar becomes Bihar CM for 10th time, Gov administers oath in presence of PM Modi and many other dignitaries

Patna, November 20: Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister for the 10th time at Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan on Thursday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers of several BJP-ruled states. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath of office and secrecy to him. Along with Nitish Kumar, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) quota, also took the oath of office and secrecy.

Among the ministers sworn in today’s cabinet, Shreyasi Singh, who won the Jamui assembly seat, is among the BJP’s young faces. Rama Nishad, who won the Arai assembly seat this time, has also been included in the cabinet. Both of them are taking oath as ministers for the first time.

The Nitish Kumar cabinet includes:

Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Vijay Chaudhary, Vijay Prasad Yadav, Shravan Kumar, Mangal Pandey, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Ashok Chaudhary, Lesy Singh, Madan Sahni, Nitin Naveen, Ramkripal Yadav, Santosh Kumar Suman, Sunil Kumar, Mohammad Jama Khan, Sanjay Singh Tiger, Arun Shankar Prasad, Surendra Mehta, Narayan Prasad, Rama Nishad, Lakhendra Kumar Roshan, Shreyasi Singh, Pramod Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Singh, and Deepak Prakash.

The Nitish Kumar cabinet, which is both experienced and young, includes leaders like Mangal Pandey, Nitin Naveen, Ashok Chaudhary, and Shravan Kumar, who have previously held various portfolios. Furthermore, young faces like Shreyasi Singh, Deepak Prakash, Lakhendra Kumar Roshan, and Rama Nishad are also included.

Maithili Thakur, MP and singer Manoj Tiwari, and Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh enthralled the crowd with their performances at the swearing-in ceremony.

The new list clearly demonstrates an effort to provide representation to all major communities and regions. Leaders from Dalit, extremely backward, backward, women, and minority communities have been given adequate cabinet positions. The inclusion of women leaders like Shreyasi Singh, Rama Nishad, and Leshi Singh demonstrates the NDA’s commitment to women’s empowerment.
