Patna, May 17: Siwan MP-MLA Court has issued a proclamation against former Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav. Through this proclamation, the court has ordered him to appear on time. Lalu Prasad did not appear in the last several hearings in an old case of violation of code of conduct. For this reason, the court has issued this proclamation against him.

Actually, if the accused does not appear even after the bailable and non-bailable warrant is issued for his appearance in the court, then a proclamation is issued against him. In an old case, the court has ordered him to appear in the court on time. This case related to Lalu Yadav is of 2011.

By-election was held in 2011 in the assembly constituency of Daraunda police station in Siwan district, in which RJD candidate Parameshwar Rai was contesting from Lalu Yadav’s party. Meanwhile, during the election campaign, he was charged under sections 144-188 of the Code of Conduct. Under this, a case was registered in the police station by the then Circle Officer (CO), who was the flying squad in-charge at that time, regarding the loudspeaker act under the Code of Conduct violation Sound Disposal Device Act 9.

After this case went on for 14 years in the MP, MLA court, today an advertisement has been issued against Lalu Yadav by an ACGM MP MLA court. The advertisement has the address of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s village Phulwaria, where the advertisement will be pasted.

Advocate Madan Singh said that this is a bailable section. A case was registered against him in the Code of Conduct violation case. Madan Singh said that this public meeting was held in Pandeypur village of Daraunda, regarding which a case of violation of the Code of Conduct came up and a case was registered against him by the then CO.

It is noteworthy that Parameshwar Rai, who was a candidate from Lalu Yadav’s party RJD, has died. Lalu Yadav is the only one alive in this case, against whom the court has issued a proclamation.
