Lucknow, May 20: A man killed his brother with a sharp weapon in Gomti Nagar police station area on Tuesday morning. The police have taken the father and brother into custody and sent the body for post-mortem and started further action.
Babulal (27), a resident of Viram Khand 2 in Gomti Nagar, was a vegetable vendor. On Tuesday, his brother started quarreling with Sunny over some issue. Soon the two got into an argument that turned into a fight. Meanwhile, Sunny attacked his neck with a sharp weapon, in which Babulal died.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, investigated the scene and sent the body for post-mortem.
In the murder case, police station in-charge Brijesh Chandra Tiwari has taken Sunny and his father into custody. The family is calling it a case of suicide, while some people say that Sunny killed brother Babulal in a mutual dispute. The police is investigating the aspect of murder and suicide.
