Lucknow: SCJM Court sentences two Bangladeshi nationals to 4-year jail

Lucknow, 01 April: The Special Chief Judicial Magistrate (SCJM) on Thursday sentenced two Bangladeshi nationals to four years of imprisonment each. Also, a fine of five-five thousand rupees has been imposed.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team of Uttar Pradesh arrested four people, including two Bangladeshi nationals Yusuf Ali and Zaheer Khan, who lived in India by making forge documents in the month of December 2017. Evidence of fake documents was found from them.

The ATS then produced these people before the Honorable Court where Bangladeshi citizens Yusuf and Zaheer confessed their crimes.

On this, the court convicted them both in 14 Foreign Act and 12 Passport Act and sentenced them to four years imprisonment. Along with this, they have been punished with a fine of five-five thousand.
