Bareilly, 6 August: The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 545 development projects worth โ‚น 2264 crore in Nath Nagri Bareilly.

Addressing the public meeting organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister launched a scathing attack on the politics of appeasement of the opposition parties. He said that some anti-social elements conspire to defame the Kanwar Yatra, but such elements fail due to the awareness of the society and the promptness of the administration. This Yatra has now become a symbol of social unity. In Bareilly, lakhs of devotees expressed their faith by performing Jalabhishek in the Nath corridor, which is becoming the new identity of the city.

In the program, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to more than 6000 youth selected through the employment fair and provided certificates and tablets to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Referring to the success of the Kanwar Yatra, CM Yogi said that a malicious attempt was made to defame the Kanwar Yatra by disrespecting the sentiments of the people, but today the success of the Kanwar Yatra, an aware society and excellent law and order have foiled the plans of those people. The double engine BJP government is working by combining heritage with development. Before 2017, Bareilly used to burn in the fire of riots every third month, now it is known for the Nath Corridor and spiritual tourism.

He said that now there is no discrimination on the basis of caste, religion or region in any scheme. This is the new India, which is moving forward with the spirit of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas. Today Bareilly is developing rapidly. The double engine government is making every possible effort to bring happiness and prosperity in the lives of the people.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Bareilly has got the gift of 545 projects worth โ‚น 2264 crores, in which 222 projects worth โ‚น 1258 crores were inaugurated and the foundation stone of 322 projects worth โ‚น 1004 crores was laid. These include Nath Corridor, flood protection, bridge, bypass, road widening, Unani Medical College, rural drinking water scheme, energy department and municipal corporation schemes. Under the Nath Corridor, temples like Alakhnath, Tripathinath, Gopeshwar Nath, Pashupatinath will be developed as tourist centers.

In the program, the Chief Minister provided appointment letters to more than 6000 youth selected through the employment fair. Motivating the youth to take advantage of the “Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana”, CM Yogi said that under this scheme, the selected youth are being provided guarantee free and interest free loan up to โ‚น 5 lakh, โ‚น 7.5 lakh on timely repayment and then up to โ‚น 10 lakh.

CM Yogi said that before 2017, there was ‘bandar-bhan’ (distribution) of government jobs. Uncle, nephew and relatives used to get involved in recovery. But in the last 8 years, 8.5 lakh youth have been given government jobs in a transparent manner.

CM Yogi said that recently the recruitment of 60,244 policemen has been completed, in which more than 12,000 daughters have been included. He urged the public representatives to publicly honor these selected candidates and their families so that there is a spread of inspiration in the society. He said that in earlier governments, jobs were only for a particular family, now the youth are getting opportunities without discrimination.

Double engine government linking heritage with development – CM Yogi

CM Yogi said that the BJP government has made the state mafia-free and fear-free. Earlier, a mafia was appointed in every district, now UP is being identified with One District One Medical College and One District One Product. The double engine government is linking heritage with development.

He said that the infrastructure of the state is changing rapidly with connectivity, highways, metro, airport, flyover. Describing Bareilly as the holy land of Lord Parshvanath, the Chief Minister said that UP is the birthplace and tapobhoomi of Ram, Krishna, Buddha and Jain Tirthankaras.

He said that the spiritual heritage is being preserved and linked with modern infrastructure so that Uttar Pradesh becomes a leader in spiritual, cultural and economic leadership.

The government is providing the benefits of development to every citizen without discrimination – Chief Minister

The Chief Minister inaugurated 9 new schemes including Ramganga flood protection, Sanda Pal road widening, Unani Medical College, Municipal Corporation Office, Energy Department Building, Gas Conservation Projects and laid the foundation stone of many. Also, schemes have been approved with the help of the Center at places like Ramnagar Fort, Ahichchhatra Parshvanath Digambar Temple etc. for tourism development.

Emphasizing the policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ of the double engine government, CM Yogi said that our government is providing the benefits of development to every citizen without discrimination. Referring to the morning meeting with the public representatives of Bareilly division, he said that the priorities of development schemes are being decided on the basis of suggestions from the public representatives. These projects will give new flight to the development of Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and Badaun.

The Chief Minister announced free travel for women in buses across the state on the upcoming Rakshabandhan (8, 9 and 10 August) and said that this arrangement will be applicable in city transport and transport corporation buses with one co-passenger.

Describing cleanliness as a civic responsibility, he appealed to run a special cleanliness campaign before Independence Day and Janmashtami.
