The pairing of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi is back to entertain the audience once again. The courtroom drama franchise ‘Jolly LLB’ is over again in the news. The first ‘Jolly LLB’, released in 2013, starred Arshad Warsi in the lead role and was a hit. After this, Akshay Kumar created a stir at the box office with ‘Jolly LLB 2’, which also became a successful film. Now, after almost 8 years, director Subhash Kapoor has brought the third part ‘Jolly LLB 3’, which was released in theatres on September 19. The figures for the film’s first day earnings have also been revealed.
According to a report by Sacnilk website, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ grossed Rs 12.50 crore on its first day of release. The film had a strong opening, grossing over โน10 crore, surpassing many of 2025’s biggest releases. This list includes blockbusters like “Mahavatar Narasimha,” “Mirai,” “Kesari: Chapter 2,” “Jaat,” “Sitaare Zameen Par,” and “Bhool Chook Maaf.”
While “Jolly LLB” starred Arshad Warsi, “Jolly LLB 2” stars Akshay Kumar. Now, in the third installment of the franchise, both Jollys, Akshay and Arshad, face off in a courtroom. Saurabh Shukla reprises his memorable role as a judge. Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao also return to their previous roles.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film is receiving tremendous response on social media, and its impact is clearly evident among the moviegoers.
