Tehran (Iran), June 17: In Israel’s latest missile attack, top military officer Ali Shadmani, close to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, lost his life. However, Iran has not yet commented on Israel’s claims about Shadmani’s death.
America’s CNN channel quoted the Israeli Air Force in its report that Ali Shadmani, a close aide of Khamenei and head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Khatam-al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has been killed in the latest attack. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have attacked Iran throughout the night based on accurate intelligence. The Israeli Air Force attacked a staffed command center in central Tehran and killed Ali Shadmani.
Shadmani took over the post on Friday after several top commanders, including his predecessor Lieutenant General Ghulam Ali Rashid, were killed in Israel’s initial attacks on Iran. Rashid and Shadmani led the Khatam-al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) statement said that Shadmani was directly involved in the operationalization of Iran’s military operational plans targeting Israel. Magen David Adom of Israel’s national emergency service said that the newly appointed Iranian Army Chief of Staff Ali Shadmani was killed in the attacks carried out at night.
