New Delhi, May 07: India started ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Tuesday midnight to avenge the killing of 26 Hindu tourists in the Pahalgam on April 23. India destroyed the hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen by attacking nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK with Hammer, Scalp and missiles without crossing the border. After this, Pakistan has started heavy shelling on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army has given an accurate reply to the Pakistani firing on the LoC.

Giving a befitting reply to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has carried out precision missile strikes on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) after midnight on Tuesday.

Under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Indian Army and Air Force carried out a joint operation using precision strike weapons on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). India attacked terrorist camps in Muzaffarabad, Sialkot, Kotli, Gulpur, Bhiner, Muridke, Bahawalpur with Hammer, Scalp missiles from fighter aircraft Rafale and Sukhoi without crossing the border.

Indian armed forces in Jammu and Kashmir attacked terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir in ‘Operation Sindoor’, where terrorist attacks against India were being planned and executed. The Indian Army had selected the location for the strikes with the intention of targeting the top leadership of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar for their role in sponsoring terrorist activities in India. The strikes used precision strike weapon systems of all three forces, Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, including loitering weapons. The strikes were carried out only from Indian soil.

India’s action has been focused and precise. No Pakistani civilian, economic or military targets were targeted. Only known terror camps were targeted. Soon after the attacks, NSA Ajit Doval spoke to US NSA and Secretary of State Marco Rubio and briefed them about the action taken. India has credible clues, technical information, testimony of survivors and other evidence, which point to the clear involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in this attack.

Among the terror targets in India’s action is the headquarters of Jaish in Bahawalpur, which is 100 km from the international border. Similarly, there is a Lashkar base located in Muridke, from where the 26/11 terrorist attacks of Mumbai were planned and executed. The Poonch-Rajouri attacks and the June 2024 bus attack were carried out from the terrorist camp of Gulpur destroyed in the Indian attack. Sawai Camp of Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was believed to be the root of the Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam attacks.

Similarly, the destroyed Bilal Camp has been the launching pad of Jaish. Kotli Camp had a capacity of 50 terrorists, which has been the base of Lashkar bombers. The destroyed Barnala Camp was 10 km away from Rajouri. Jaish base Sarjal Camp in front of Samba-Kathua was near the international border. The ninth terrorist base destroyed, Mahmoona Camp, is a terrorist camp of Hizbul Mujahideen, which is located 15 km from the international border near Sialkot.
