Lucknow, 01 June: The Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) national president Mayawati has said that improving the law and order of the state is a big challenge for the new Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh.

It is noteworthy that the government has appointed IPS Rajiv Krishna as the acting DGP after the retirement of the then Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar on Saturday night.

On this, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)’s national president Mayawati has launched a scathing attack on the government. In this matter, BSP chief Mayawati made three posts on X on Sunday. In the first post, she said that among the various states of the country, especially UP is dominated by feudal and criminal elements. Caste and communal hatred, violence, injustice-atrocities, displacement of people etc. prove that the rule of law is not working properly here.

In such an environment, the new chief of the UP Police will face a big challenge to control crime and establish the rule of law in the state and provide proper relief to the people of all sections of society. The state government and the people of the ruling party will also have to cooperate in every way to establish the rule of law in UP. She said that in any case, UP should be the backbone of the country’s progress in the multidimensional development of India and the overall progress of its huge population.
