Deoria, February 16: The Samaan Nyay Sangharsh Samiti organized a Maha Panchayat on Monday at the Maharani Chandika hostel campus. During the meeting, topics such as social justice, the education system, reservation policies, and constitutional rights were discussed in detail. Suspended PCS officer Alankar Agnihotri also participated in the Maha Panchayat.
He announced that he will contest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
He stated that this decision is not a matter of personal ambition, but part of the fight for systemic change and equal justice. He claimed that there is a need for widespread dialogue and public awareness on issues related to education, employment, and social justice in the country. He criticized the UGC policies, stating that the current policies are not in the best interests of students and educational institutions.
He demanded transparency, equal opportunity, and academic autonomy in the education system. Alankar Agnihotri called on those present to participate in this struggle and transform the movement into a mass movement.
Other speakers also elaborated on the committee’s objectives and said that the movement would be carried out in a phased manner in the future. At the end of the program, all those present resolved to unite and fight for social justice, equal rights, and the protection of democratic values.
