It has been a week since the release of Hrithik Roshan’s much-awaited film ‘War 2’. The makers had high hopes of earning huge profits from this film which hit the theatres on 14 August. But since its release, its box office performance has not been as expected. With each passing day, its earnings are declining. Now the film’s earnings on the seventh day have come out.
According to the data of box office tracker Sacnilk, ‘War 2’ collected around Rs 5.50 crore on the seventh day of its release, i.e. on the first Wednesday. With this, the total box office collection of the film in India has reached Rs 199 crore. Made on a budget of around Rs 400 crore, the film is now very close to the Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office. At the same time, including the overseas market, the worldwide collection of ‘War 2’ has so far crossed Rs 298.1 crore.
South superstar Junior NTR has also made a strong entry in ‘War 2’ and he has made his Bollywood debut through this film. In the film, his and Hrithik Roshan’s face-off on the big screen is full of tremendous action and emotions.
At the same time, Kiara Advani is seen as Hrithik’s on-screen partner. This high-octane film is directed by Ayan Mukherjee, while its producer is Aditya Chopra. This film is the sixth installment of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, which promises to make the franchise even stronger.
