Prayagraj, July 06: A case has been registered against six people including the brother-in-law of mafia Atiq Ahmed in the Kareli police station of the city on Saturday night. The police has begun the investigation of the matter registered on the complaint of a woman.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhijeet Kumar told on Sunday that on the complaint of Anjum Ara, a resident of JK Nagar, Kareli, another case was registered last night in Kareli police station against six people including the brother-in-law of mafia Atiq Ahmed, Imran Zei and his brother Zeeshan alias Janu.
The ADCP told that the woman has alleged in her complaint that Imran and his brother had sold a land to her and its registry was not of that land but of another R.G. The Kareli police station is investigating this case of fraud.
