Lucknow, 29 August: There is a lot of rhetoric from the leaders regarding the indecent comment made about the Prime Minister and his late mother from the Congress platform in Darbhanga, Bihar. Meanwhile, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati has also given her reaction on this without naming anyone.
The BSP chief Mayawati wrote in her post on X on Friday that the falling level of politics in the country, especially due to political selfishness, is very sad and worrying. In this regard, the politics of all parties should be in the interest of the country and crores of poor and common people on the basis of ideas and principles according to the party’s constitution, which has not been seen properly for the last few years, while during this time various types of internal and external challenges in front of the country have increased a lot.
She wrote that not only this, but the kind of indecent, unruly and unparliamentary comments etc. being made publicly about the people in high government and non-government institutions of the country and especially those in high positions in politics, the efforts being made to tarnish their and the country’s image is extremely sad and worrying.
She penned on micro-blogging site that this process becomes even more toxic and violent especially during polls. In the same sequence, whatever has been seen and heard in Bihar is also going to increase the country’s concern. Whereas our party BSP, being a party that has shown the courage to run the party and the government with iron willpower on the Ambedkarite principles and policy of ‘Sarvajana Hitaya and Sarvajan Sukhaya’ since the beginning, is against any kind of dirty and poisonous politics. She also expects the same from others that they should stay away from dirty selfish politics in the interest of the country and the common people and it would be better if they do not spoil the atmosphere of the country by cheap politics of forcibly degrading each other.
Mayawati has further written that it is particularly noteworthy in this regard that Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’s ideal welfare Indian Constitution, considering the interest, security and self-respect of crores of people of India as paramount, has ensured that every constitutional institution works within its prescribed limits, i.e. has guaranteed check and balance for all of them. Only by implementing it properly, the situation can definitely be saved from deteriorating.
