Lucknow, October 23: Former Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh and currently Rajya Sabha member from the BJP, Braj Lal has expressed deep concern over the rising number of Bangladeshi infiltrators in the state capital Lucknow and their criminal activities. Calling these Bangladeshi citizens living in Lucknow a threat to the security and integrity of the country, he has appealed to the Chief Minister to send them back.
Former Director General of Police and BJP MP Braj Lal has today written a long post on his Facebook page and drawn the attention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh towards this.
The former DGP has also talked to some such women and men during his morning walk and has gathered information about their original residence. These individuals were claiming to be residents of Assam, while he himself had spent a long time in Assam while leading a PAC battalion. He is fully aware of the geographical situation there. Calling these individuals citizens of Bangladesh, Brajlal also questioned the intentions of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) and the local police administration.
He said that only the state’s Chief Minister, Yogi, can take a firm decision on this matter and send these Bangladeshis back.
