New Delhi, February 25: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken major action against Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani in the alleged bank fraud and money laundering case. The central probe agency has attached Anil Ambani’s house ‘Abode’ located in a posh Mumbai area, worth Rs 3,716 crore, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002.
Official sources informed on Wednesday that the ED has attached Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani’s Mumbai home ‘Abode’. The central probe agency has attached this multi-storey house in a case related to alleged bank fraud by his group company Reliance Communications (RCom). The ED has taken this action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002. This 66-meter-high luxurious house located in Pali Hill, Mumbai, is a 17-story building. The value of the seized property is ₹3,716.83 crore.
According to reports, Anil Ambani may appear before the ED here for a second round of questioning. He first appeared before the ED in August 2025 and recorded his statement under the PMLA. The total value of the properties seized by the central investigating agency in this case has now reached approximately ₹15,700 crore.
