Lucknow, December 27: The Ecotourism facilities are being rapidly developed in the Kukrail forest area located in Indiranagar, Lucknow.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, work is underway to make Kukrail a major tourist hub while preserving the environment. While the Forest and Tourism Department is engaged in the development of the Kukrail Night Safari, the UP Ecotourism Board is developing modern facilities for tourists in the forest area adjacent to the Night Safari.

The UP Ecotourism Board is constructing a children’s park, play station, open gym, nature walk trail, and bamboo round huts for children and families in the Kukrail forest area. In addition, cafeterias, parking, and toilet facilities are also being developed for the convenience of tourists. These facilities will provide a better experience for tourists visiting the Kukrail Crocodile, Gharial, and Turtle Sanctuary.

Pushp Kumar, Additional Director of the UP Eco-Tourism Board, stated that eco-tourism facilities are being developed in the Kukrail forest area at a cost of approximately two crore rupees.

He added that a children’s park and play station with adventure games and swings, as well as an open gym, are being set up for children’s entertainment. Keeping natural conservation in mind, round bamboo huts and a nature walk trail are being developed, where tourists can enjoy the natural environment, flora, and birds surrounding the Kukrail River.

He stated that all construction work is progressing rapidly and will be completed soon. Tourists will begin to benefit from these facilities in the early months of the new year. Eco-tourism will promote environmental conservation while also creating new employment opportunities for local residents and increasing regional revenue.
