Patna, November 1: A major revelation has come to light in the case of the death of Dularchand Yadav, a Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) supporter, in Mokama, Patna district, Bihar. Contrary to earlier claims, the postmortem report has confirmed that Dularchand Yadav did not die from a gunshot wound, but from a lung rupture and cardiac arrest.

According to the report, Dularchand Yadav was hit hard from behind with a heavy object, causing him to fall. This blow fractured several ribs and ruptured a lung, leading to his death.

The report prepared by a three-member team of doctors has been submitted to the investigating officer. The Election Commission has also sought a detailed report on the case from the state’s Director General of Police (DGP).

A team led by the Rural Superintendent of Police is investigating all aspects. Following the Mokama case, the Election Commission of India has also swung into action. The department has directed officials to strictly enforce law and order and ensure the surrender of all licensed weapons. The Commission has also ordered action against illegal weapons throughout Bihar.

Three FIRs have been registered so far in connection with the Dularchand Yadav murder case. A complaint filed by Dularchand Yadav’s grandson, Neeraj Kumar, names Anant Singh, his nephews Rajveer and Karmaveer, as well as Chhotan Singh and Kanjay Singh.

Meanwhile, another FIR filed by Anant Singh’s supporter, Jitendra Kumar, accuses Jan Suraj candidate Priyadarshi Piyush, Lakhan, Bajo, Nitish, Ishwar, and Ajay Mahato, among others. The police have also filed a third FIR in connection with Yadav’s death.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that the police administration will do its job in the Dularchand Yadav case. The police will do their job with complete honesty. Strict action will be taken against those found guilty in this incident.

He stated that Bihar has emerged from the era of jungle raj. Previously, jungle raj was run from the Chief Minister’s residence. However, he acknowledged that mutual rivalry is a serious issue, and that his government will resolve it in time.
