Mathura, July 17: Cybercriminals have hacked District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh’s Facebook account and demanded money from his close ones. On getting information about the case, the District Magistrate has filed a case in Sadar Kotwali and appealed to people not to connect to the account.
The District Magistrate told on Wednesday that a close one informed him that his Facebook has been hacked. Now money is being demanded. On this, the District Magistrate immediately checked his Facebook and found out that cyberthugs have hacked it.
District Magistrate immediately informed Sadar Kotwali and appealed to the people connected to Facebook that their account has been hacked. He appealed to people not to connect to his fake account. Meanwhile, Sadar Kotwali Police has filed a case and started investigation with the help of cyber cell.
It is worth noting that this is not the first case of hacking the Facebook account of the District Magistrate. Even before this, a case of creating fake accounts and demanding money has come to light. Not only this, cyber thugs had created a fake WhatsApp account of District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and demanded Rs 50,000 from the District Horticulture Officer (DHO). However, he was saved due to his prudence.
