Ghaziabad, 24 July: New revelations are constantly being made in the police interrogation of the accused arrested in the illegal conversion case.

The investigation of illegal conversion has now reached Ghaziabad. Ghaziabad Crime Branch in-charge Inspector Abdul Rehman Siddiqui has been suspended after a report from Meerut Police. Inspector Siddiqui has been suspended on charges of threatening the victims and protecting Changur’s associate Badar Siddiqui when they complained about the conversion of a girl who disappeared from Meerut in the year 2019.
Actually, in the year 2019, Abdul Rehman Siddiqui was in-charge of Civil Lines police station in Meerut.
The family of a girl has alleged that when they went to the police station in-charge Abdul Rehman Siddiqui with a complaint against Badar Siddiqui, an associate of Changur alias Jamaluddin, regarding the kidnapping and conversion of their daughter, they were intimidated and chased away from the police station. Even their missing was not registered.
After this, Ghaziabad Police Commissioner J Ravinder Gaud has suspended Crime Branch in-charge Inspector Abdul Rehman Siddiqui.
The victims alleged that they were threatened and asked to keep quiet when they complained about the conversion of their daughter who disappeared from Meerut in the year 2019. Also, no action was taken.
Now investigation of this case has also been started. Inspector Abdul Rehman Siddiqui has been posted in the Crime Branch in Ghaziabad for a long time. Inspector Siddiqui has also received many medals for revealing many big cases.
