Ayodhya, March 12: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a review meeting on Thursday to assess preparations for President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming Ayodhya program and the Ram Navami celebrations.
Yogi inspected preparations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Following this, he held a meeting with officials of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, public representatives, and police and administration officials in the PFC meeting room and issued necessary instructions. Chief Minister Yogi said that all preparations should be completed on time in view of President Droupadi Murmu’s proposed visit.
President Murmu is scheduled to arrive in Ayodhya on March 19th to attend the ceremony to be held at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Janmabhoomi on the first day of Navratri
.During the review meeting, officials briefed the Chief Minister on preparations for the President’s arrival, including welcoming him at the airport, organizing cultural programs along the travel route, and necessary arrangements for guests. The Chief Minister directed that adequate security arrangements, cleanliness, and facilities for visitors be ensured. The Chief Minister directed that all preparations be completed within the stipulated time frame. The Chief Minister directed police officers to ensure strict surveillance and robust security arrangements at all public places, and to keep the intelligence system and anti-drone control room on alert.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reviewed the facilities for devotees visiting Ayodhya Dham on the occasion of Ram Navami. He directed that all necessary arrangements be made for the devotees and that the footpaths be kept clear so that they do not face any problems in commuting.
Chief Minister Yogi directed that effective arrangements be made for crowd control and that the darshan-pujan program be broadcast on screen. He noted that Ram Navami is a major festival, attracting a large number of devotees to Ayodhya Dham. The convenience of devotees should be a top priority.
He directed security agencies to maintain strict surveillance on suspicious and anti-national elements. He also directed them to ensure that no one is allowed to enter the temple premises without checking. He directed that golf carts be operated from Lata Mangeshkar Chowk to Hanumangarhi.
In a review meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed that golf carts be operated from Lata Mangeshkar Chowk to Hanuman Garhi for the convenience of devotees on the occasion of Ram Navami, so that they do not have to walk much.
Chief Minister also stressed on keeping VIP movement to a minimum so that common devotees do not face any inconvenience. He directed that parking arrangements be ensured in advance. Parking of vehicles should not be allowed on the roadside. Adequate arrangements for drinking water should be made at various places with a spirit of service.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also inquired about the progress of the construction of the Parikrama Marg and the Temple Museum.
On this occasion, public representatives and trust officials also presented their suggestions before the Chief Minister. Agriculture Minister/District In-Charge Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, District Panchayat President Roli Singh, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, MLAs Ved Prakash Gupta, Ramchandra Yadav, Amit Singh Chauhan, Abhay Singh, Chandrabhanu Paswan, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, member Gopal, Trustee Anil Mishra, ADG Lucknow Zone Praveen Kumar, Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, DIG Somen Burma, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde, Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Grover, etc. were present in the meeting.
