CM Yogi pens a Uttar Pradesh Day letter to the people

Lucknow, January 22: This year, the Yogi government is preparing to celebrate Uttar Pradesh Day worldwide. Uttar Pradesh Day will be celebrated on January 24. Before that, on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote a letter to the people of the state, appealing to them to reiterate their resolve for a developed Uttar Pradesh and extending their best wishes for Uttar Pradesh Day.

Chief Minister Yogi wrote in his letter, “My respected citizens, our state, with its immense potential, has broken the shackles of struggle and policy indifference and transformed from a sick state to a growth engine of India’s development. With unwavering determination, we have established the rule of law and good governance. We have lifted more than 60 million people out of poverty with the goal of zero poverty. We are celebrating Uttar Pradesh Day on January 24. This is the time to reiterate our resolve for a developed Uttar Pradesh. Through our combined efforts, this journey from resolve to accomplishment will continue to be dynamic.” Advance greetings to all residents of the state on Uttar Pradesh Day.”

It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh was previously known as United Provinces. After independence, on January 24, 1950, its name was changed to Uttar Pradesh. Later, in 2018, the Yogi government officially started the tradition of celebrating Uttar Pradesh Day.
