CM Yogi pays last respects to Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji in Lucknow

Lucknow, October 16: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday reached Shiv Shanti Ashram in Lucknow and paid last respects to the head priest of the Ashram, Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji, by paying his last respects to him.

He offered floral tributes to the mortal remains of Sant Shiromani and expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved devotees present. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi covered the mortal remains of Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji with saffron clothes and paid homage to his statue by offering flowers. It is noteworthy that Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji passed away on Wednesday.

Expressing deep grief over his passing, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote in a social media message on Wednesday, “The passing of Sant Shiromani Shri Sai Chanduram Sahib Ji, the prominent religious leader of the Sindhi community and the head of the revered Shri Shanti Ashram, is extremely sad and an irreparable loss to the spiritual community. My condolences are with his grieving followers. I pray to Lord Jhulelal to grant his soul a place in his feet and grant his followers the strength to bear this loss. Om Shanti!”

A crowd of devotees thronged the ashram premises during the Chief Minister’s visit. Everyone paid heartfelt tributes and expressed their reverence for Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji. Devotees and followers pledged to follow the path shown by Sant Shiromani and talked about spreading his ideals to the masses.
