Bijnor/Lucknow, 7 July: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the Kanwar Yatra on Monday. During this, he conducted a large survey of the entire Yatra route from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to Bijnor by helicopter. He gave strict guidelines to the officials to ensure smooth arrangements for the Yatra, safety of the devotees and respect for faith.
The Chief Minister especially emphasized on maintaining the sanctity of the Yatra, so that the faith and enthusiasm of millions of devotees remains intact. The Chief Minister directed to take strict action against those who make mischief like defilement of food items.
He directed the officials to take strict action against those involved in such acts, so that the purity of the Kanwar Yatra is not affected. He also made it clear that those who create any kind of disorder should not be spared, so that the atmosphere of the Yatra remains peaceful and orderly.
Giving top priority to the convenience of the devotees, the Chief Minister ordered to make extensive arrangements for pandals, food, and other necessary facilities at various places. He said that high-quality arrangements should be made for cleanliness, electricity and lighting on the Kanwar route. No stone should be left unturned to ensure the safe completion of the entire Kanwar Yatra.
He directed the officials to ensure the availability of resting places and clean drinking water keeping in mind the needs of the devotees. Apart from this, he emphasized on further strengthening these arrangements with the cooperation of voluntary organizations and social organizations.
