CM Yogi doles out billion rupees in aid to over 66K people in the FY 2024-25, informs state spokesperson

Lucknow, May 17: In the last financial year (2024-25), 66,874 such needy people appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for financial help. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath helped every patient/family and needy person seeking help.

A spokesperson of the state government said that in the financial year 2024-25, the Yogi government provided assistance of more than 13.44 billion for 66874 needy people. 1.66 billion rupees were given to 7570 cancer patients alone, while medical assistance of 33.12 crores was provided to about 1729 patients for kidney treatment, transplant and subsequent treatment. Apart from this, financial assistance was also given by the government for damage caused by fire, deceased dependents, daughter’s marriage, education etc.

The CM heard every letter, whether it was ‘Janta Darshan’ of Gorakhpur or Lucknow, letters from public representatives or patients/relatives,

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath heard all and after getting the estimate in the hospital, the government provided assistance. Not only this, Yogi Adityanath also got assistance from the government for the victims of fire, accident victims, deceased dependents, marriage of daughters etc.
