Lucknow, 27 June: The Yogi government has once again taken strict action against careless officers. This time four project managers and three junior engineers of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana 2.0 of Fallow Land Development Department have been given adverse entry for negligence in work.
At the same time, CM Yogi has instructed the senior officials that if there is no improvement in the work of careless officers even after action, then strict action should be taken against them.
Negligence of project manager and junior engineer came to light in departmental review meeting
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana 2.0 of Fallow Land Development Department, GS Naveen said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi, departmental review is done from time to time regarding the progress of the schemes. In this sequence, a review meeting was recently held with the project manager and junior engineers of the scheme. During this, the project manager and junior engineers were asked for details of the work done in the last five years as per the DPR of the projects, but four project managers and three junior engineers could not give details of the work. Along with this, they could not even tell about the action plan of the current financial year. In the recent meeting, the Chief Minister took seriously the questions raised on the working style of four project managers and three junior engineers on the slowness and negligence in work. After this, action was taken. He gave clear instructions to the senior officials that if they do not improve their working style despite the action, then more strict action should be taken in future.
Adverse entry given to project managers of Prayagraj, Mahoba, Chitrakoot and Pratapgarh:
CEO GS Naveen said that during the review of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana I and II, on the instructions of the CM, adverse entry has been given to Prayagraj project manager Surendra Pratap Singh, Mahoba project manager Sanjay Kumar, Chitrakoot Karvi (II) project manager Devendra Singh Niranjan and Pratapgarh project manager Chaman Singh for negligence in works. Along with this, adverse entry has been given to junior engineer Vishwajeet Yadav of Prayagraj, junior engineer Dinkar and Ashish Kumar Yadav of Pratapgarh first land conservation officer office for negligence in works.
