Classes from 1st to 12th to now run after 9 AM due to severe cold in Lucknow

Lucknow, December 17: The change in weather in Uttar Pradesh has brought severe cold. Chilling winds and fog are affecting daily routines. The District Magistrate issued an order on Wednesday that classes from 1st to 12th should now be held after 9 AM. This order is mandatory for schools affiliated with all boards.

Lucknow District Magistrate Vishak G has ordered the change in school timings in light of the weather. According to the order, schools affiliated with all boards up to 12th grade in Lucknow will begin operations only after 9 AM.

District Magistrate’s order will provide significant relief to children attending school early in the morning during this winter season.

District School Inspector and District Basic Education Officer have been directed to implement this order. Apart from this, school timings have been changed in many districts of the state.
