Amravati, September 28: Dr Kamaltai R. Gavai, mother of the Chief Justice of India (CJI) B.R. Gavai, will be the chief guest at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Vijayadashami celebrations in Amravati.
J. Nandkumar, a member of the RSS’s National Executive, will be the keynote speaker. Dr Kamaltai Gavai is also the president of the prestigious Shri Dadasaheb Gavai Trust in Amravati.
Sharing information about this, the RSS’s Vidarbha Province Publicity Chief informed that the RSS is beginning its centenary celebrations this year. Former President Ram Nath Kovind will be the chief guest at the function to be held in Reshimbag, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on October 2. In a similar vein, a Vijayadashami program will be held in Amravati, Maharashtra, on October 5, with Chief Justice of India Bhushan R. Gawai’s mother, Dr. Kamaltai Gawai, will be the keynote speaker. National Executive Member J. Nandkumar will be the keynote speaker at the event. The event will be held at the Shrimati Narasamma Mahavidyalaya grounds in Kiran Nagar, Amravati.
According to members of the Gavai family, Dr Kamaltai Gawai has received an official invitation from the Sangh. She has given her verbal consent to attend the Vijayadashami celebrations.
