Chittorgarh, March 15: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that caste politics is weakening India’s foundation. The politics of division is pushing us all back towards slavery.

He said that the Chittorgarh fort is not just a historical structure made of stones, but it is a guardian of India’s self-respect, dignity, and national identity. National heroes like Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji, and Guru Govind Singh fought not for power, but to protect the country and religion.

Yogi Adityanath was addressing the Jauhar tribute ceremony organized under the auspices of the Jauhar Smriti Sansthan on Sunday.

He said that why did this country become weak? Because casteism cracked and weakened the foundation of society. This caste politics is weakening India’s foundation. The politics of division is pushing us all back into slavery. To escape it, we must move forward with that spirit. “It is very difficult to know the origin of rivers and heroes; what is the clan of warriors except their bows?” These are lines from the great poet Dinkar. Had

Yogi Adityanath said, “Which Indian doesn’t remember Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose? He too had called, ‘Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.’ This slogan wasn’t just for Bengal, it was for all of India, for the independence of all of India. Had Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose been alive, India wouldn’t have been divided, and sinful Pakistan wouldn’t have existed. His call was for India’s identity, for India’s independence, and for India’s youth. You can go outside India, to Japan, to Singapore. Within India, go to Port Blair, for India’s independence through Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose… you can go to Myanmar.” The memorial of their contribution to India’s independence still calls out to all Indians.
