Lucknow, February 18: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati announced on Wednesday that her party will contest the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections on its own. It will not form an alliance with any party.
She stated that alliances harm the BSP. She appealed to party workers to ignore misleading news and contribute to strengthening the party.
The BSP chief Mayawati stated in a press conference that media reports suggesting the BSP will contest the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in alliance are fake news, purely to mislead party workers and the public.
She said this is completely false, fabricated, and fabricated. Therefore, both leaders and the media should refrain from making a mockery of themselves by flying this kite-like bluff.
Mayawati stated that she had openly declared not just once, but at every party meeting, even at the massive rally held in Lucknow on October 9th, that the BSP would contest the elections alone. However, some individuals, including the media, have fallen prey to this nefarious conspiracy and are wasting their time and reputation by spreading such false news. People need not pay any attention to this.
Mayawati stated that the BSP is fully engaged in its 2027 mission, and they continue to conspire to divert attention from it. She urged party officials to ignore such fabrications and continue to walk the majestic gait of the elephant, contesting this election alone and forming a full-majority government for the BSP, just like in 2007.
The BSP chief, addressing the ongoing debate surrounding the Type-8 government bungalow allotted to her in Delhi, stated that she was allotted this government bungalow for security reasons and protocol. Spreading any misleading information about this is baseless.
The BSP chief said that as the elections draw closer, the opponents’ tactics of coercion, bribery, punishment, discrimination, etc., and conspiracies to keep the BSP away from power will only increase, as has always been the case.
