Mathura, January 25: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin paid obeisance at the threshold of Banke Bihari on Sunday. Both the leaders bowed their heads at the feet of the deity and performed puja with the chanting of the Vedic mantras as per the rituals.
Nitin Nabin, who reached ‘Braj Bhoomi’ of Uttar Pradesh for the first time after being elected as the National President of the BJP, participated in a spiritual and political program along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and National President Nitin Nabin reached Banke Bihari temple and lit a lamp and offered flowers in front of Thakurji.
During the visit, Chief Minister Yogi prayed to Thakurji for the state’s prosperity and the fulfillment of his resolve to achieve a “developed India.” Following the darshan, temple servants presented him with prasad.
Union Minister of State for Finance and BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary, along with National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, also accompanied them.
Yogi’s cabinet minister, Chaudhary Laxminarayan, Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh, Mayor Vinod Agarwal, Rajya Sabha MP Tejveer Singh, MLAs Shrikant Sharma, Meghshyam Singh, Rajesh Chaudhary, Puran Prakash, Legislative Council members Ashok Kataria, Om Prakash Singh, Regional President Durvijay Singh Shakya, and District President Nirmal Pandey also visited and worshipped Banke Bihari.
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the BJP President Nitin Nabin visited the residence of Rajesh Chaudhary, MLA from the Mant area of โโthe district. Chaudhary’s mother had recently passed away. Chief Minister Yogi and BJP President Nabin offered condolences by offering flowers to the MLA’s mother’s portrait and comforting the bereaved family.
