Bhutan’s PM along with his family visits Shri Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, 5 September: Bhutan’s Prime Minister Daso Tshering Tobgay on Friday visited Shri Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya with his family and appreciated the grandeur of the temple.

The trust officials gave all the information related to the ongoing construction of the temple to Tobgay. The district administration made tight security arrangements when Tobgay reached the temple.

Earlier, Bhutan’s Prime Minister Daso Tshering Tobgay landed by plane at the local Maharishi Valmiki International Airport at around 9:30 am. Here, he was welcomed on the red carpet by the district administration by state government minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde and SSP Gaurav Grover. Tobgay was accompanied by his wife. After this, Bhutan’s Prime Minister Daso Tshering Tobgay reached Ram Temple directly from Ayodhya Airport.

On reaching Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trust member Dr Anil Mishra welcomed him. After this, the Prime Minister of Bhutan visited Shri Ram Lalla and offered prayers.

Tobgay also visited Ram Darbar with his wife and also got to know the history related to the temple. Trust General Secretary Champat Rai gave him all the information related to the construction of the temple. The Prime Minister of Bhutan stayed in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex for about 1 hour 40 minutes. He appreciated the grandeur of the temple and also took pictures with his wife for memory. After this, Tobgay left for the local hotel Ramayana.

Tight security arrangements have been made for the visit of the Prime Minister of Bhutan to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. ATS and STF kept monitoring every inch of the place.

During the entire tour, all security agencies including PAC, CRPF, SSF, Civil Police, ATS and STF remained alert. During this, his visit was also being monitored from the Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s Office.
