Bareilly, September 23: Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, national president of the All India Muslim Jamaat, said that the release of the Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan is a matter of joy for the Muslims. However, there is also sadness over not meeting Akhilesh Yadav.
After his release from jail, Barelvi advised Azam to form a new party and called Akhilesh ungrateful.
Maulana Barelvi said that Azam Khan was imprisoned in Sitapur jail for several months, and his release on the orders of the High Court has brought a wave of happiness among the Muslim community. He has done great work for the development of the people and the city of Rampur. He is the same leader who nurtured the Samajwadi Party with his blood and sweat and made Mulayam Singh Yadav “Mulla Mulayam.” Due to his hard work, Mulayam became Chief Minister several times and Akhilesh Yadav became Chief Minister. Despite this, Akhilesh Yadav did not support Azam Khan during his crisis.
Maulana Razvi suggested that after coming out of jail, he should unite his scattered associates, form a new political party, and contest the 2027 assembly elections strongly.
He claimed that the Muslims of Uttar Pradesh would be seen standing with him, and this would give Akhilesh Yadav an idea of โโhis true strength.
