Ayodhya, October 16: The ninth Deepotsav, Ayodhya, the city of Lord Ram in Uttar Pradesh, will be illuminated not only with lamps but also with a digital aura. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are in the final stages to establish Ayodhya as a digital and spiritual city on the world cultural map. After Ram Lalla is enthroned in the grand temple, a wonderful confluence of technology and culture will be visible here.

On Diwali, every corner from Dharmapath to Lata Chowk, Ramkatha Park, and Saryu Ghat will be bathed in a wonderful display of light. This year, more than 2.6 million earthen diyas will be lit here, setting a world record. 30 digital pillars will be installed on the Dharam path, displaying scenes from the Valmiki Ramayana.
Nitin Kumar, site in-charge and design manager of EduX Design Company, stated that they have been assigned the responsibility of lighting. Thirty 18-foot-tall digital pillars are being installed on both sides of the Dharampath, from the National Highway to the entrance. These pillars will display glimpses of scenes from the Ramayana and digital light shows. This digital presentation will run from October 18th to 20th, immersing devotees in the divine experience of the Treta Yuga.
Work is underway on a war footing to beautify Ram Katha Park, Ram Ki Paidi, Hanumangarhi, Birla Temple, Tulsi Udyan, Bhajan Sandhya Sthal, and even the Saryu Bridge. The arch gates and digital pillars being installed by EduX Design will modernize the streets of Ayodhya while also keeping the religious spirit alive.
A new world record will be created with over 2.6 million lamps.
This time, a world record will be set for the festival of lights, with 2.611 million lamps lit at 56 ghats, including Ram Ki Paidi. Each lamp will symbolize the ideals of Lord Ram and the divinity of Ayodhya.
The historic festival of lights will be held under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is closely monitoring the preparations for the festival. His clear instructions are that this year’s festival of lights should convey the message of Ayodhya’s tradition, tourism, and technology to the world. Under Yogi’s leadership, the festival of lights will not only be a celebration of religion and culture, but will also be a symbol of “New Ayodhya of New India.”
This confluence of the light of lamps and digital technology will further strengthen Ayodhya’s position on the global tourism map. While devotees will visit the divine Ram temple, they will also experience the wonderful events of the Ramayana through digital presentations. Ayodhya’s festival of lights is no longer just a festival, but has become a symbol of India’s faith, culture, and technological progress.
