An elderly man tests positive for Covid-19 in Lucknow

Lucknow, May 28: After Ghaziabad, Noida and Firozabad, coronavirus has knocked in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow too. A person from Lucknow has been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19. After this, the health department has become alert.

An elderly resident of Lucknow’s Ashiana started having cough and difficulty in breathing after returning from a religious trip to Uttarakhand. He was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. When the test was done at SGPGI, the report came positive.

According to the doctors, the patient does not have any serious symptoms right now. Lucknow’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Narendra Bahadur Singh said that a patient from Ashiana has been confirmed to have corona infection during the test at SGPGI. The health department team has taken samples for testing of other family members. All hospitals have been instructed to be cautious about the new variant of Covid, JN-1. If you experience symptoms, contact a doctor and get yourself tested as per the advice. Due to the change in weather, the number of viral and cold and cough patients has increased.

30 cases of corona found in the state so far According to Director General of Health Dr Ratanpal Singh, a total of 30 corona patients have been found in seven districts of the state so far. Of these, the highest number of cases are 14 in Gautam Buddha Nagar, 12 in Ghaziabad, one corona patient each has been found in Farrukhabad, Lucknow, Jalaun and Firozabad. This variant of corona is very mild. After two to three days of mild cold and cough, the patient gets cured. There is no need to panic.

On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has held a meeting with medical officials. He has given instructions to take precautions in view of corona in hospitals and upgrade the arrangements as well as keep beds reserved.
