The PAN-India animation film ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ based on the lord Vishnu’s incarnation continued to rule the box office on 12th day its release at the theaters.
As per the box office reports, the spiritual masterpiece has crossed โน 100 crore and is dominating Son of Sardar 2 and Dhadak 2 at the ticket booking counters.
Ajay Devgan and Mrunal Thakur’s comic entertainer ‘Son of Sardar 2’ hit the theatres on August 1. The film has received mixed response from the audience and critics. It did earn well in the first three days, but with the beginning of the week, the speed of earning of the film seems to be slowing down. Now according to the latest figures, the box office collection of the fourth day i.e. Monday has come out.
According to the report of box office tracker Sacnilk, ‘Son of Sardar 2’ collected around Rs 2.50 crore on Monday, the fourth day of its release. With this, the total earnings of the film so far have reached Rs 27.25 crore. The film did a business of Rs 7.25 crore on the opening day, Rs 8.25 crore on the second day and Rs 9.25 crore on the third day. It is being told that the budget of this film is about 80 crores, so it will have to go a long way to become a hit.
Similarly, Karan Johar’s Dhadak 2 also met the same fate on the fourth day of its release in the cinemas.
According to the Bollywood tracker Sacnilk, Tripti Dimri starrer Dhadak 2 has collected only โน 1.35 crore on the fourth day taking the total box office collection to โน 12.75 crore.
‘Son of Sardar 2’ is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. Ajay Devgan and Mrinal Thakur are paired together for the first time in this film. Mrinal has played the character of Rabia in the film, and the audience is liking the chemistry of both of them. Apart from Ajay and Mrinal, many well-known actors like Neeru Bajwa, Roshni Walia, Kubra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Sahil Mehta, Chunky Pandey and Ravi Kishan have appeared in important roles in the film.
