Actor Salman Khan’s father and veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after his health deteriorated on Tuesday.
According to doctors, 90-year-old Salim Khan’s condition is currently stable, but he is on ventilator support and being closely monitored.
According to reports, a sudden increase in his blood pressure caused internal bleeding in the right side of his brain. The hospital’s health bulletin stated that a team of specialists is treating him. Dr Jalil Parkar informed that a team of neurologist Dr Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr Ajit Menon, neurosurgeon Dr Nitin Dange, and Dr Binit Ahluwalia are involved in his treatment.
It is being reported that his surgery will be performed on February 18. Meanwhile, the entire Khan family, including Salman Khan, is present at the hospital. Family members and close friends have also visited to inquire about his health. Everyone wished Salim Khan a speedy recovery. No official statement has yet been issued by the Khan family.
