Covid vaccination of over 45 years of age in the state is underway.
Till now 56, 83,326 people were given the first vaccine and the second dose was given to 10, 78,051.
So far, a total of 67, 61,377 people have been given vaccine doses in the state.
Lucknow, 05 April: So far, 3999 fresh cases of global pandemic coronavirus infection have been reported across the Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, vaccination against Covid-19 is being done for those above 45 years of age in the state. So far, 56, 83,326 people have been given the first dose of vaccine and 10, 78,051 people have been administered the second dose of vaccine. Thus, a total of 67, 61,377 people have been taken vaccine doses.
State’s Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad told here on Monday that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has got the first dose of vaccine in civil hospital today. The Chief Minister has also appealed to the people that the eligible person should get their vaccination done. The vaccine is completely safe. Stay away from any kind of rumour related Covid jab.
Prasad informed that Covid vaccination is being carried out at all medical colleges, district hospitals and community health centers (CHC) of the state from Monday to Saturday. Covid vaccination is being done at primary health centers (PMC), health and wellness centers on Monday, Thursday and Friday. He said that getting vaccinated is very important.
He appealed to everyone that those who are more than 45 years must go to the Covid Center and get vaccinated. Pre-registration can be done on ‘Cowin portal’ to select the center and day of your facility. Those who are not able to register online, they will take their Aadhar card or any other identity card and go to the vaccination center, the health workers present there will register you and get them vaccinated. If vaccination is done in private hospitals, then a dose of 250 rupees will have to be paid.
3, 55, 75,232 corona samples tested in the state so far
ACS Health informed that a total of 1,61,270 samples were tested in the last one day in the state. In this, more than 84 thousand tests have been done through RTPCR.
He apprised that the benchmark has been set by KGMU to conduct more than 14 lakh tests. He informed that samples of Covid-19 of 68,921 people have been sent from different districts. A total of 3, 55, 75,232 samples have been investigated so far in the state.
He further informed that there have been 3999 new cases of infection across the state in the last 24 hours. Out of 22,820 corona active cases in the state, 12,338 people are in home isolation. 512 patients are undergoing treatment in private hospitals and the remaining patients are also getting free treatment in government hospitals.
6, 02,319 people have recovered so far
Prasad said that so far 6, 02,319 people have been recovered from Covid-19 in the state. A population of 15,38,85,948 of 3,17,18,683 households has been surveyed through 5,17,844 team days in 1,90,382 areas through surveillance teams in the state.
He said that special precautions need to be taken at this time. The infection is not yet eradicated, so be sure to follow the covid protocols even after vaccination. Continue to wash your hands with soap and water. When you wash your hands, wash it for at least 30 seconds, so that the virus will be destroyed and make two-yards away from people and avoid going to crowded places. He said that the elders of the household should get vaccinated.
