APC to review paddy procurement each day, orders CM Yogi

Commissioners, District Magistrates constitute a team in each district and inspect the purchasing centers, said CM Yogi.

Lucknow, 04 January: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has said that the Commissioner of Agricultural Production (APC) should review paddy procurement daily.

In the review, intensive monitoring of paddy purchase of each purchasing agency should be done.

He has directed the Commissioners and District Magistrates (DM) to constitute a team in each district to inspect the Paddy Purchase Centers.

The Chief Minister was reviewing the works of various departments at a high level meeting at his government residence here on Monday.

He said that farmers’ interest is paramount for the state government. He has directed the farmers to ensure the benefit of Minimum Support Price (MSP) in order to make paddy procurement faster.

Yogi said that more and more purchases should be made by arranging additional thorns at the paddy purchasing centers.

The Chief Minister said that ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Energy Security and Utthan Mahabhiyan’ (PM Kusum Yojana) is being conducted in the state. Solar pumps are being installed under this scheme. He has directed to expedite the works of PM Kusum Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that the development projects run in the districts should be completed within the stipulated time frame with full quality.

He directed the Commissioners and District Magistrates to review and physically verify the development projects costing more than Rs 50 lakhs in each district.

The Chief Minister said that the Uttar Pradesh Workers and labours (Employment and Employment) Commission has been constituted for the social and economic security of workers and workers and their all-round development.

He directed that effective action should be taken by reviewing weekly and monthly by the divisional commissioner by the District Magistrate regarding implementation of the recommendations and decisions of the Commission.

He has also directed to conduct regular reviews at the state headquarters level.

The Chief Minister said that GST revenue collection should be increased by making effective efforts. More and more registrations should be done under GST. He has instructed to make extensive use of technology in revenue collection work.
