Lucknow Lucknow, April 22: A 55-year-old man committed suicide by shooting himself with his licensed gun in the Para police station area of ​​Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information and took the body into custody and began an investigation, police told.
The station house officer Suresh Singh said that Kaptan Singh Sardar (55), originally from Kasganj district, currently resides in the Bhaptamau area of ​​Para in Lucknow and was a gold nail trader. He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, while some of his family members live in Kasganj. According to family members, Kaptan Singh shot himself with his licensed gun at 11:30 am on Wednesday, dying on the spot.
The station in-charge said that prima facie the incident appears to be a family dispute. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination and all other aspects are being thoroughly investigated.
