Unidentified rickshaw-wallah’s body found in Lucknow, probe on

Lucknow, April 19: The body of an unidentified rickshaw driver was discovered on Sunday in the Naka Kaiserbagh police station area of the Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, with police reaching the spot at 10:30 a.m. and sending the deceased for post-mortem examination to establish identity.

The station house officer Anjani Kumar Mishra stated that at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, information was received that a driver was lying unconscious on his rickshaw. Upon receiving the information, a local police team immediately arrived at the scene, where a man was found dead on the rickshaw.

He told that nearby residents and other rickshaw drivers were questioned, but no concrete information was obtained regarding the deceased’s identity. The body is being sent for post-mortem examination to identify the deceased. The actual cause of death will be determined only after the post-mortem report is received. No obvious injury marks were found initially, however, further legal action will be taken based on the post-mortem report.
