Rampur, 08 April: Two suspicious youths were apprehended after entering the CRPF camp in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh without permission. Security personnel immediately detained them and handed them over to the police. Authorities are now interrogating both individuals to determine their motive behind entering the camp premises.

Saurabh Rajput, Deputy Commandant posted in CRPF, said in a written complaint given to the Civil Lines police station on Wednesday that the security personnel deployed for the security of the camp stopped these youths for questioning on the basis of suspicion. But the youths could not give any valid reason for their presence there. They also tried to mislead the security personnel. After this, both the suspicious youths were handed over to the police.

Civil Lines Police Station in-charge Omkar Singh said that during rigorous interrogation, it was revealed that one of the arrested suspects was Naeem from Patwai village and the other was Bhura, a resident of Ghosipura village. Based on a complaint received from the CRPF administration, a case has been registered against both of them and an investigation has been initiated.

It is noteworthy that on the night of December 31, 2007, terrorists attacked a CRPF Group Center. Seven CRPF soldiers were martyred in that incident, and a rickshaw driver also lost his life.
