Lucknow, March 30: The Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, are set to experience scattered showers and strong winds on Monday across more than 40 districts, with the Meteorological Department issuing a yellow alert as weather fluctuations are now expected to continue until April 5.
Atul Kumar Singh, a senior scientist at the Meteorological Center, Lucknow, stated that light drizzle and strong winds, reaching speeds of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour, are expected in approximately 40 districts across various divisions of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh today. Similar weather conditions are expected on March 31. On March 30 and 31, several divisions in western Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience rain and thundershowers. The weather will remain dry on April 1 and 2nd. Following this, light showers and thundershowers are expected in several divisions on April 3, 4, and 5.
Singh apprised that similarly, in eastern Uttar Pradesh, isolated areas are expected to experience rain and thundershowers on March 30th, 31st, and April 1st. Following this, the weather will remain dry on April 2nd and 3rd, with drizzle expected on April 4th and 5th. Temperatures may also decrease slightly in the next 24 hours.
