Noida, March 22: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Noida on Sunday to review preparations for the inauguration of the newly constructed Noida International Airport in Jewar.
He held a meeting with officials at Jewar Airport for about an hour and a half, reviewing preparations and security arrangements for the inauguration ceremony, and issued necessary instructions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this newly constructed international airport on March 28th.
Chief Minister Yogi flew from Lucknow to Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad and from there, he took a helicopter to Noida International Airport. He was welcomed by BJP leaders and officials. He was accompanied by Additional Chief Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Government Deepak Kumar and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Ishan Pratap Singh to Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Yogi reviewed the ongoing preparations at the airport. He inspected the airport and the public meeting venue and inquired about the security arrangements.
Following this, Chief Minister Yogi held a meeting with officials in the auditorium of Noida International Airport. In the meeting, officials briefed the Chief Minister on preparations such as the ceremony’s planning, security plan, and the number of people attending the public meeting and their seating arrangements. Security planning for the Prime Minister’s arrival was also reviewed.
Chief Minister Yogi directed the preparation of a systematic map for parking arrangements at the public meeting, as well as proper arrangements for cleanliness, drinking water, electricity supply, medical facilities, fire safety, and emergency services.
During this, Gautam Buddh Nagar MP Dr Mahesh Sharma, Minister in Charge Kunwar Brijesh Singh, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, DM Gautam Buddh Nagar Megha Rupam, CEO Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority Rakesh Kumar Singh, ACEO Shailendra Bhatia, DCP Poonam Mishra, ADM Finance Atul Kumar, ADM Administration Manglesh Dubey, CEO of International Airport Limited Christoph Schreelman, COO Kiran Jain, along with a large number of people were present.
Preparations were made by the Commissionerate Police, Yamuna Authority and the District Administration for the Chief Minister’s visit. During this, strict security arrangements were also made.
