Varanasi, March 16: Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez on Monday immersed her mother’s ashes in the Ganges river with due rituals.
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez said that she is religious at heart and that is why she immersed her mother’s ashes in the middle stream of the pious river Ganges. Varanasi has a religious atmosphere and one gets salvation here. One gets peace on the banks of the Ganges river.
Acharya Vikas Pandey performed the immersion of actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother’s ashes with due rituals.
The actress took a boat from the banks of the Ganges and sat on it and performed the rituals with Vedic chanting. After staying on the banks of the Ganges for some time, Jacqueline left for the Taj Hotel.
