Lucknow, March 15: The National President of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati said that BSP, which follows the footsteps of Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, is the real party for the welfare and upliftment of the ‘Bahujan Samaj’. Whereas there is a huge difference between the words and deeds of the SP and other opposition parties. It is important to be cautious of the deception and pretense of such parties.

The BSP chief Mayawati was addressing senior leaders after paying floral tributes to Kanshi Ram’s portrait and paying emotional tributes at the central camp office located at Mall Avenue on Sunday. During this, she targeted the opposition parties.

Mayawati said that the love shown by parties that exploit Dalits, Other Backward Classes, and Muslims at every level, especially the SP and now the PDA, is pure deception. They remember these communities and their great men only during elections. Once in power, they too disregard these communities and other parties. This is a history of these parties.

She added that with the Muslim community largely alienating themselves from these parties and the Brahmin community also joining the BSP, the SP’s political and caste-based animosity is growing.

At a program held at the camp office, she appealed to the Bahujan Samaj community to be cautious of all the deceptions and pretenses of these parties. Furthermore, the Congress Party did not honor the architect of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, with the Bharat Ratna. The current BJP government at the center is also delaying the Bharat Ratna for Kanshi Ram.

The BSP chief said that his contribution to creating an egalitarian society in the country, as per the Constitution, is historic, and for this reason, he lives in the hearts of the people. She called upon the workers of the Bahujan Samaj to become missionary Ambedkarites by joining the BSP movement. They should gain the master key to power through the power of their votes.

It is noteworthy that on Mayawati’s instructions, workers and supporters from 12 divisions of the state and six divisions in Noida gathered at the Kanshi Ram Memorial site in the capital, Lucknow. Several officials, including BSP state president Vishwanath Pal, addressed the program held in the capital.
