Noida, March 13: The Noida Authority official lodged report against six sanitation workers accused of inciting colleagues to protest. The police have registered a case and began an investigation into the matter.
The station house officer (SHO) of Phase One Police Station, Amit Kumar Maan, stated that on Thursday night, Harendra Singh Malik, a junior engineer with the Noida Authority (NA), filed a case at the police station, naming sanitation workers’ leaders Satbir Makwana, Sadhu Makwana, Sunil Tonk, Bablu Parcha, Ravi Parcha, and Radhe Parcha.
The police officer further added that the junior engineer alleged that these individuals are instigating sanitation workers working under the Noida Authority. They frequently engage sanitation workers in protests, disrupting the sanitation work. They are obstructing government work. Their actions are causing significant problems for residents of the Noida Authority area. Dirt is spread everywhere, and there is a constant threat of disease.
The SHO told that he also alleged that these people frequently visit the Noida Development Authority office, stage strikes, and behave rudely with the authority’s officials.
The station in-charge stated that the police have registered a report of the incident and are investigating the matter.
