Amethi, March 11: The Leader of the Opposition (LoP) and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the Raebareli parliamentary constituency for two days. He will also visit Amethi during this visit.
The Congress party Amethi District spokesperson Anil Singh said on Wednesday that Rahul Gandhi will arrive at Fursatganj Airport on March 12. From there, he will go directly to Raebareli and attend the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) meeting. He will also visit Amethi on the second day of the visit.
He told that the DISHA meeting will review the progress of various development schemes and discuss regional development issues with officials. After the meeting, he will stay overnight in Bhuemau. On the second day of his visit, on March 13, Rahul Gandhi will participate in the Janta Darshan program and meet with the people of the area to listen to their problems. He will then proceed to Naina Resort in Bahadurpur, located in the Tiloi Assembly constituency of Amethi district, and hold an important meeting with Congress workers from the Amethi parliamentary constituency. The meeting will discuss organizational strength, future strategy, and regional issues in detail.
In the same sequence, Rahul Gandhi will express his condolences to the bereaved family by attending the 13 (tribute) ceremony of the late Yogendra Mishra, former Congress District President, held at his residence in the Gauriganj area of โโAmethi. Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma will be a special guest. He will be accompanied by Congress District President Pradeep Singhal, along with Congress officials and workers from Amethi and Rae Bareli. Following the events, Rahul Gandhi will depart for Lucknow, from where he will proceed to New Delhi.
